Gourmet Hotdogs

Ingredients

6 D’Orsogna Cheddar & Chipotle Gourmet Hotdog

Olive oil, for drizzling

6 hotdog rolls – sourdough, split in half

Mayonnaise

Packet of rocket or greens

3 washed medium capsicums

 

Chimichurri  (Need a Processor + Griddle)

1 cup (firmly packed) flat-leaf parsley

⅓ cup (firmly packed) oregano

1/3 cup coriander

1 long green chilli, thinly sliced

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

Finely grated rind and juice of ½ orange

  1. For chimichurri, process herbs, chilli, garlic and rind in a food processor until finely chopped, then gradually add oil and process until smooth. Add vinegar and orange juice, and season to taste.
  2. Drizzle Hotdog and capsicum with a little oil and grill on a griddle, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through (6-8 minutes).
  3. To serve, split rolls partway, spread with mayonnaise, top with chimichurri and rocket.
