The Perth Royal Show Food Awards is WA’s leading food and beverage competition. The winners of the 2020 Smallgoods Awards were announced on Friday, revealing winners across Western Australia.
The expert judging panel comprised qualified judges, stewards and volunteers assessing entries in ham, bacon and salami categories. D’Orsogna won three Gold Awards in the Ham category:
- Cooked on the Bone Premium Leg Ham took Gold in the Traditional Leg Ham category;
- Champagne Ham on the Bone took Gold in the Semi Boneless category;
- D’Orsogna’s Australian Jarrah Honey Ham off the Bone took Gold in the Leg ham; Manufactured category. This ham variety is sold year-round in Woolworths’ deli counters and also as a boneless 1.2kg mini portion during the festive season.
