Antipasto plate on a stick
Ingredients
Method
Start by preparing your ingredients for the antipasto skewers. Begin by slicing the chorizo in half lengthwise. If you’re also using salami, you can either cut it into smaller pieces or fold the slices into quarters to make them easier to skewer. Make sure to drain the bocconcini balls and artichoke hearts if necessary, then set all the ingredients aside for assembly.
Take a skewer and begin layering the ingredients in an attractive manner. Start with a black olive, then add a folded piece of chorizo or salami. Next, include a cherry tomato, followed by a bocconcini ball and an artichoke heart. Repeat this layering process for each of the 12 skewers, ensuring that each ingredient is spaced well apart for easy eating and a visually appealing presentation.
Once all the skewers are assembled, arrange them neatly on a serving plate. You can display them in a fan shape or stacked for a beautiful presentation. Cover the plate with plastic wrap and refrigerate the skewers for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the ingredients to chill.
When you're ready to serve, remove the plate from the fridge to allow the skewers to warm up slightly. Your antipasto sticks are now ready to be enjoyed as a fun and easy appetizer, perfect for any gathering or celebration!
