Cheesy Potato & Cabanossi Bake

Ingredients

 750 g Potatoes
 300 g Cream
 100 g Tasty Cheese, grated
 2 Onions
 2 Garlic Cloves
 1 tbsp Butter, extra for the pan
 Salt and Pepper, to taste

Method

Start by setting your oven temperature to 180°C / 360°F.

Begin by peeling and rinsing the potatoes, then proceed to thinly slice them. Next, halve the Cabanossi sausages lengthwise and proceed to cut them into slices.

Start by peeling the onions and halving them, then proceed to cut them into slices. Afterward, finely chop the garlic cloves, and be sure to set them aside for later use.

In a large baking dish, line the dish before arranging and creating a layer using half of the potatoes. Evenly distribute half of the chopped garlic and onion slices over the top. Add a generous sprinkle of salt and pepper, then pour half of the cream evenly.

Repeat the process by adding the remaining potato slices, sprinkling the remaining garlic and onion over the top, and pouring the rest of the cream. Finish it off with a generous layer of shredded cheese.

Place it in the oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the top becomes beautifully golden. Serve with alongside your favourite dish for the ultimate meal.
