Begin by filling a large pot with water and bringing it to a boil over medium heat. Add the fresh cheese tortellini and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Once the tortellini is tender, drain it and return it to the same pot. Set aside.
While the tortellini is cooking, dice the D'Orsogna Leg Ham into small, bite-sized pieces. This will ensure the ham blends evenly with the pasta, giving it a rich, smoky flavor.
After draining the tortellini, place the pot back on the stove over low heat. Add the chopped ham, cooking cream, grated mozzarella cheese, and frozen peas to the tortellini. Stir gently, allowing the cream and cheese to melt and coat the pasta, forming a smooth, creamy sauce.
Continue stirring until the ingredients are fully combined and heated through. Once the sauce is creamy and all elements are well mixed, remove the pot from the heat.
Divide the ham tortellini into four serving bowls. For an extra burst of flavour, sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top of each serving. Serve immediately and enjoy your rich, creamy ham tortellini!
