Jack o’ Lantern Bites

Ingredients

 1 D’Orsogna Premium Australian Jarrah Honey Ham Off The Bone 200g pack
 1 Shortcut Pastry Pack
 200 g Cheddar Cheese, thinly sliced
 1 Egg

Method

These golden ham and cheese bites are a fun snack to enjoy making with the kids this Halloween using only 3 simple ingredients including our D’Orsogna Premium Australian Jarrah Honey Ham Off The Bone!

Preheat oven to 200 degrees and line a baking tray with foil then set aside.

Layout the shortcut pastry and cut out 24 pumpkin shapes using a pumpkin cookie cutter. Using a knife, cut out triangle eyes and nose for 12 of the pumpkin shapes.

Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese in the centre of each of the 12 non-cut-out pumpkin shapes; top each with 2 slices of D’Orsogna Premium Australian Jarrah Honey Ham Off The Bone. Brush beaten egg around the edges and top with remaining cut-out pumpkin shapes, carefully pressing on edges to seal.

Add the completed pumpkin shapes to a baking tray and top with beaten egg. Bake in the oven until lightly golden or approximately 12-15 minutes. Cool before serving.
