Mini garlic bread hot dogs

Ingredients

6 frankfurts
6 mini dinner rolls
30 g cheddar cheese, grated
2 tbsp butter, softened
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
Salt & pepper
tomato sauce, to serve

Method

This is such an easy recipe - and looks so fancy!

Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Split the dinner rolls lengthwise down the centre with a bread knife.

Mix together the butter, garlic and parsley and season with salt and pepper.

Spread the insides of the rolls with garlic butter and add a pinch of cheese.

Wrap the rolls side by side in aluminium foil and bake at 180°C for 20 mins.

Meanwhile, bring a saucepan of water to the boil and add the frankfurts.

Turn off the heat and allow the frankfurts to heat through for 5 mins. Drain and dry on paper towels.

Remove the rolls from the foil and place a frankfurt in each. Top each with a good squirt of tomato sauce.
