Spiders in the Garden


160g spaghetti

3 D’Orsogna gourmet hotdogs

1 tablespoon oil

1 teaspoon of salt Red pasta sauce (passata is best)

¼ head of Broccoli – cut into large florets

½ cup string beans – top and tail

6 whole baby carrots – half lengthways (will look nicer)

1 cob of corn – sliced into 3 cm rounds Parmesan to serve Parsley to serve

Cooking Instructions

  1. Slice Gourmet Hotdogs into 4 even pieces
  2. Thread 6 pieces of spaghetti through each piece of Hotdog lengthways
  3. Prepare your vegetables
  4. Place passata ion a small saucepan over low heat with a lid on to warm.
  5. Bring a large pot of water to the boil
  6. Once boiling place the hotdogs into the water for 6 minutes
  7. Add the vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes more
  8. Drain spiders and vegetables gently
  9. Place ½ cup passata in each bowl
  10. Lay down your vegetable garden then top with spiders
  11. Serve with parmesan cheese
