D’Orsogna has been recognised with two major honours at the IGA Tasmania Awards of Excellence 2026, receiving both Fresh Supplier of the Year and Overall Supplier of the Year.
The annual Awards of Excellence brings together IGA members and supplier partners from across Tasmania to celebrate outstanding achievement, innovation and commitment across the independent grocery network.
The event recognises the stores, individuals and supplier partners who contribute to the strength of the IGA community and the important role independent retailers play in supporting local communities across the state.
This year’s ceremony highlighted the dedication and collaboration that continues to drive the success of the network, with members and partners recognised for their contribution to delivering exceptional retail experiences and high-quality products for customers.
Receiving both Fresh Supplier of the Year and Overall Supplier of the Year reflects D’Orsogna’s ongoing commitment to supporting independent retailers and building strong partnerships across the IGA network.
The IGA Tasmania Awards of Excellence remain an important opportunity to recognise the people, businesses and partnerships that continue to strengthen the independent grocery sector.
The awards were accepted on the night by Steven Papageorgiou, Business Manager, East Coast, and Matthew Wiltshire, Category Manager at D’Orsogna, who represented the company at the ceremony.
