Eugene D’Orsogna Awarded 2025 Con Regan Medal for Service to Fremantle Dockers

Eugene D’Orsogna, member of the D’Orsogna board, has been honoured with the 2025 Con Regan Medal, recognising his extraordinary and long-standing contribution to the Fremantle Football Club.
The award was presented at the Doig Medal Presentation Dinner, celebrating Eugene’s more than 30 years of involvement with the Club, marked by loyalty, leadership and sustained commitment.
Named after Fremantle’s inaugural football manager and Western Australian football figure Con Regan, the medal recognises individuals who have made an exceptional personal contribution to the Fremantle Football Club.
Eugene D’Orsogna has been part of the Club’s journey since its foundation in 1994, when Fremantle first entered the AFL. As one of the original Harbour Masters, he pledged early support at a critical time, with foundation memberships playing an important role in providing the Club with the financial stability needed to establish itself.
In 2014, Eugene stepped into the role of Harbour Masters President, where he was involved in key decisions impacting both the Fremantle Football Club and The Harbour Masters. His dedication has remained consistent throughout more than three decades, reflecting a deep connection to the Club and its community.
The 2025 Con Regan Medal recognises a legacy built on commitment, service and leadership, and honours those who helped give the Fremantle Football Club its early momentum and enduring strength.
