Bacon Jalapeño Popper Wonton Cups
Ingredients
Method
Begin by preheating your oven to 170 degrees
Prepare a 24-hole mini muffin tin by spraying it with cooking oil, and then delicately pressing a wonton wrapper into each of the empty spaces before placing it into the oven to cook for approximately 10 minutes or until nice and golden brown.
Remove the cooked wonton wrapped from the oven and set aside to cool down a little as you prepare the filling.
To make the filling, add the cream cheese, sour cream, D'orsogna Bacon, shredded cheese and diced jalapenos in a large mixing bowl. Set aside a small portion of the bacon and cheese to sprinkle on the top for garnish.
Next, fill each of the wonton cups with the cheese and bacon mixture until each cup is filled. Sprinkle the extra bacon and cheese on top.
Place the wonton cups in the oven and cook for approximately 8 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve on a wooden board or platter.
