Tasty Pastry Twists

Ingredients

12 D'Orsogna Mild Tasty Sticks
1 Frozen puff pastry sheet, partially thawed
1 Egg, lightly beaten
20 g Parmesan, finely grated
¼ bunch of basil, leaves picked
¼ cup Tomato relish

Method

Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Cut 12 2cm-wide strips from pastry. Using one strip of pastry at a time, wrap the strip diagonally around 1 stick. Place on tray. Repeat with remaining pastry and sticks. Chill for 10 minutes.

Brush pastry with egg and sprinkle with parmesan. Season. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden-brown and puffed. Cool slightly. Sprinkle with basil. Serve with tomato relish.
