Maple Bacon Pancakes

Breakfast or dessert?


Made with the Gold Medal Winner Maple Streaky Bacon, awarded by the @ausmeatindustrycouncil, this easy recipe is the ultimate weekend breakfast, brunch treat or dessert stack.



🛒 INGREDIENTS:

  • 250g @dorsognasmallgoods Maple Glazed Streaky Bacon (from the 500g pack)

  • Maple syrup

  • Pancake mix, store-bought, is totally fine


Or make my gluten-free pancake mix:

  • 1 cup gluten-free plain flour

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 egg

  • ¾ cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp melted butter



👩‍🍳 STEP BY STEP:

  1. Air fry the bacon until crispy and golden.

  2. Chop some of the bacon into small pieces and keep a few curly crispy strips for the top.

  3. Prepare your pancake mix, either store-bought or gluten-free homemade.

  4. Cook the pancakes in a pan until fluffy and golden on both sides.

  5. Stack the pancakes with crispy bacon pieces between each layer.

  6. Finish with the curly bacon strips on top and drizzle generously with maple syrup.
